Corrections Policy
A correction should repair the reader's operating picture, not merely replace a sentence.
What we correct
We correct factual errors, material omissions, broken or superseded regulatory explanations, misleading labels, inaccessible diagrams, and source attributions that do not support the associated claim. Style changes that do not alter meaning are treated as routine edits.
Review process
The disputed claim is checked against the highest available source in our hierarchy. If the evidence supports a change, the article, structured data, diagram, summary, internal links, RSS description, and related guidance are reviewed for the same issue.
Transparency
A substantive correction should identify what changed and why. The article's fact-check date is updated only after the full relevant source set has been reviewed. We do not silently preserve an incorrect conclusion for traffic or commercial reasons.
Correction channel
This website does not currently accept correction submissions. Editors review source updates and related guidance directly; a submission channel will be listed only when its recipient and handling process are verified.
